APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH AUGUSTA COMMUNITIES, LLC, FOR ASSET MANAGEMENT, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, AND MANUFACTURED HOUSING CONSULTING FOR PARK LA HABRA MOBILE HOMES AND VIEW PARK MOBILE HOME ESTATES LOCATED AT 1731 AND 1750 WEST LAMBERT ROAD That the City of La Habra Housing Authority approve and authorize the Executive Director to execute a five-year agreement with Augusta Communities, LLC, (Augusta) for asset management, property management, and manufactured housing consulting services for Park La Habra Mobile Homes and View Park Mobile Home Estates located at 1731 and 1750 West Lambert Road.]

I'LL JUST, UH, EXPLAIN WHY I PULLED THAT.

I WENT THROUGH THE PROPOSAL ON THE CONTRACT AND I THOUGHT THAT WE SHOULD PUT AN AMENDMENT IN THIS.

AND I TALKED TO THE CITY MANAGER TODAY AND WHAT I FOUND IS I WANTED TO ADD SOME LANGUAGE.

THIS IS A FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT, BUT I THINK I WOULD LIKE TO ADD AN AMENDMENT OF MY COLLEAGUES AGREE THAT BASICALLY SAYS THE AUTHORITY MAY TERMINATE THE WHOLE OF THIS AGREEMENT AT ANY TIME.

IF THE AUTHORITY DECIDES TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP THROUGH THE SALE OF THE PROJECT, BY GIVING 90 DAY NOTICE AS SUCH TERMINATION AND SPECIFYING THE EFFECTIVE DATE THERE OF BECAUSE OF THE CHALLENGING TIMES AHEAD, WHICH WE WILL BE REALLY CHALLENGED IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS OR SO.

I THOUGHT THAT THAT OUGHT TO BE SOMETHING IN THE CONTRACT.

SO COUNCIL HAS THE OPTION TO TERMINATE.

IF YOU DECIDE TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP THROUGH THE SALE OF THE PROJECT.

SO UNLESS ANYBODY NEEDS A STAFF REPORT, THAT'S WHAT MY MOTION WILL BE JUST TO AMEND IT TO YOUR MOTION, MR. OKAY, LET ME READ THE MOTION THEN.
