The Regular Meeting of the City Council and the Regular Joint Meeting with the Successor Agency for the Redevelopment Agency for the City of La Habra, the La Habra Civic Improvement Authority, the City of La Habra Housing Authority, and the La Habra Utility Authority for June 21, 2021, will be conducted in person at the City of La Habra Council Chamber, located at 100 East La Habra Boulevard, La Habra, California. The City Hall atrium will be open for limited seating for the public to ensure proper social distancing and the wearing of masks or appropriate face covering is required.

Please be advised that in order to ensure the health and safety of the public by limiting contact that could spread COVID-19, the Council Chamber will be open for one speaker at a time during the Regular Meeting of the City Council meeting and the Regular Joint Meeting with the Successor Agency for the Redevelopment Agency for the City of La Habra, the La Habra Civic Improvement Authority, the City of La Habra Housing Authority, and the La Habra Utility Authority when the Mayor opens public comment periods. Staff will be available to assist those who wish to speak. We encourage the public to also participate in the Regular Meeting of the City Council by submitting written comments via email to cc@lahabraca.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021, or by viewing the meeting live on Channel 3 and through the City of La Habra website and clicking on "Watch Live" at 6:30 p.m.

That the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a purchase order in the amount of $136,654.64 with Global Star Technologies (GST) for the purchase of a Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Nimble Storage Area Network (SAN) equipment and DL380 Gen10 server.

That the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a purchase order in the amount of $263,238.29 with Dell Computers for the purchase of two Dell EMC Unity storage equipment and two PowerEdge R650 servers.

That the City Council:
A. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Agreements with (1) Twining, Inc., (2) MTGL, Inc., and (3) Ninyo & Moore for "On-Call" Geotechnical Engineering and Testing Services for Public Works Projects, Fiscal Year 2021-2022 through Fiscal Year 2025-2026; and

B. Approve and authorize staff to issue purchase orders to (1) Twining Inc., (2) MTGL, Inc., and (3) Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 through Fiscal Year 2025-2026 in the amount of $75,000 per consultant, per fiscal year, not to exceed $225,000 in total per fiscal year.

That the City Council:
APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. ____ ENTITLED:  A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA HABRA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING APPLICATION(S) FOR PER CAPITA GRANT FUNDS.

A. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Contract No. CCTR-1164 with the State of California Department of Social Services for the General Child Care and Development Programs  for Fiscal School Year 2021-2022; and,

A. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Contract No. CSPP-1339 with the State of California Department of Education, Child Development Services, Early Learning and Care Division, for the State Preschool Program for Fiscal School Year 2021-2022; and

B. APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. ______ ENTITLED:  A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA HABRA, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING THE APPROVAL AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF LOCAL AGREEMENT NO. CSPP-1339, WITH THE CALIFORNIA STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

 

That the City Council approve the Early Head Start Program Continued Funding Application for the 2021-2022 Fiscal School Year and authorize the City Manager to execute the application, documentation, and agreement to be submitted to Orange County Head Start, Inc. to request funding to provide Early Head Start Services for 50 children aged 0-3 year old in La Habra.      

That the City Council:

B. APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. _______ ENTITLED:  A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA HABRA ADOPTING, DIRECTING, FILING AND IMPLEMENTING THE 2020 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE;
