I BELIEVE THE STAFF REPORT KIND OF GIVES YOU ALL OF THE BACKGROUND, BUT I BELIEVE THERE WERE SOME CONCERNS ABOUT THIS COMING BACK TO YOU EVERY 30 DAYS FOR EXTENSIONS.

UNFORTUNATELY, THAT IS HOW YOUR CODE IS WRITTEN, THAT WE HAVE TO COME BACK EVERY 30 DAYS TO DO THESE EXTENSIONS BASED ON CONVERSATIONS WITH STAFF AND ANOTHER ATTORNEY IN MY OFFICE.

IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST SIX MONTHS AND UP TO A YEAR BEFORE THIS PROJECT IS COMPLETED.

SO YOU WILL BE SEEING THIS EXTENSION EVERY 30 DAYS UNTIL THE WORK IS COMPLETED.

THE FOURTH CHAMBER PLANS TO BE OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8:00 AM TO 8:00 PM AND WEEKENDS FROM 8:00 AM TO NOON.

THEY WOULD LIKE TO PROVIDE BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL GROUP SESSIONS PRIMARILY RELATED TO WRESTLING.

THEY'LL PROVIDE A RANGE OF SERVICES AND THAT INCLUDES STRENGTH TRAINING, WEIGHT LOSS TRAINING, AND MASSAGE THERAPY WITH A FOCUS ON REHABILITATION.

THE ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE WITHIN TWO THREE HOUR BLOCKS OF TIME.

FIRST FROM 8:00 AM TO 11:00 AM AND THEN FROM 12 NOON TO 3:00 PM WHEREBY A TOTAL OF THREE TRAINERS WILL EACH SCHEDULE ONE CLIENT.

THEY ARE PROPOSING TWO SMALL GROUP SESSIONS DURING EACH WEEKDAY.

THE CALIFORNIA BUILDING CODE ALSO REQUIRES THAT THERE BE A MAXIMUM OCCUPANT LOAD OF 10 PERSONS FOR THIS, UM, SUITE AT ANY GIVEN TIME.

PER THE LA HABRA MUNICIPAL CODE.

A COMMERCIAL SCHOOL REQUIRES 0.35 SPACES PER STUDENT PER SESSION AND THAT TRANSLATES TO A TOTAL OF THREE PARKING SPACES TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.

THE APPLICANT HAS A RECIPROCAL ACCESS AND PARKING AGREEMENT IN PLACE, WHICH PROVIDES THEM ACCESS TO A TOTAL OF 186 PARKING SPACES.

THE SHARED PARKING AREA HAS BEEN OUTLINED WITH THE IN GREEN PER THE LA HABRA MUNICIPAL CODE FOR APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR COMMERCIAL SCHOOLS.

STAFF HAS CONCLUDED THE FINDINGS REQUIRED FOR GRANTING A CUP CAN BE MADE AND AS A RESULT, STAFF IS RECOMMENDING THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 23 DASH ZERO EIGHT.

LARGER PROJECTS REQUIRE EIRS AS A RELEASE TO THE PUBLIC 45 DAYS FOR REVIEW, WAY IN ADVANCE OF IT GOING TO THE PUBLIC HEARING.

IN PAST PRACTICE WHERE I'VE WORKED BEFORE, THAT'S WHEN WE ALSO RELEASED THAT DRAFT.

WELL, IT'S RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC, BUT WE SPECIFICALLY PROVIDE IT TO THE COMMISSION AND POTENTIALLY EVEN CAN HAVE A WORKSHOP AT THAT TIME SO THAT YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE PROJECT A LITTLE BIT BETTER.
