COMMISSIONER MACHA? I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT YESTERDAY'S EVENT, UM, UH, HOSTED BY THE VETERANS, UH, COMMITTEE AND THE AMERICAN LEGION POST, UM, AND ALSO A LOT OF ASSISTANCE FROM THE CITY. IT WAS SUCH A GREAT EVENT. WE HAD, I WANNA SAY WE DEFINITELY HAD MORE THAN 150 PEOPLE THERE. I WANNA SAY WE HAD MORE THAN 200 PEOPLE ATTEND THE, THE MEMORIAL SERVICE AND IT WAS AMAZING. IT WAS VERY TIRING. BUT IT WAS, IT WAS REALLY GREAT. AND MY FAVORITE PART, AND I JUST HAVE TO SAY THIS ON RECORD, IS THAT, UM, AT THE END OF THE DAY, AT THE END OF THE EVENT, THERE WERE PEOPLE WHO WERE NOT EVEN ASSOCIATED WITH THE EVENT. NOT ON THE COMMITTEE, NOT ON ANY OF THE ORGANIZING, UM, UH, ANY ORGANIZATIONS. PEOPLE JUST CAME UP AND ASKED IF THEY COULD HELP, UM, CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS.
