SOME OF THE MOST NOTEWORTHY PROJECTS INCLUDE TWO NEW DRIVE-THROUGHS, INCLUDING A NEW STARBUCKS COFFEE ON WHITTIER BOULEVARD AND THE SEVEN LEAVES CAFE ON IMPERIAL HIGHWAY.
SHE ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO REVIEWING A NUMBER OF RESIDENTIAL INFILL PROJECTS, WHICH INCLUDED INCORPORATING AFFORDABLE UNITS WHEN POSSIBLE.
AND SHE ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THE REVIEW OF THE UPCOMING RAPIDS EXPRESS CAR WASH AND LA HABRA MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL.

UH, THEY HAVE TO REMOVE SOME LANDSCAPING AND RELOCATE IT.
UH, THAT'S DENOTED IN THESE GREEN SHADED AREAS.
THAT INCLUDES A COUPLE OF, UH, TREES THAT WILL BE REPLACED, LIKE KIND AND AT LEAST A 24 INCH BOX.
UH, THERE'S A NEW, UH, ACCESSIBLE WALKWAY, UH, AND THEY ARE ALSO ADDING, UH, THE GATED ENTRY, WHICH AGAIN IS PUSHED BACK ABOUT 45 FEET.
THAT CREATES THE ABILITY FOR SOME TRUCK, EXCUSE ME, TRUCK QUEUING TO OCCUR AT THE GATE.
WE HAVE QUEUING FOR UP TO THREE OF THE, UH, WHEEL BASE 67, UH, TRAILER SEMI TRAILERS, TWO AT THE GATE, AND THEN ONE IN THE POCKET JUST NORTH OF THAT.
SO IF WE EVER HAVE ANY QUEUING, UH, IN THAT LOCATION, IT CAN BE ACCOMMODATED THAT WAY.
UH, THE GATE WILL BE OPERABLE OR MANNED OR OPEN AT ALL TIMES AS NEEDED FOR THE FACILITY WHEN IT DOES EVENTUALLY TURN OVER HANDS.
UH, ADDITIONALLY, THEY'VE ADDED THREE, UH, ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBLE STALLS TO THE FOUR THAT ARE EXISTING.
UH, SIX STALLS WERE LOST IN THE RECONFIGURATION PARKING STALLS WERE LOST IN THE RECONFIGURATION.
THOSE HAVE BEEN REPLACED ON THE INTERIOR, UH, OF THE, UH, PROPERTY.
AND THEY'VE ALSO ADDED ADDITIONAL PARKING THROUGHOUT THE SITE, WHICH WE'LL COVER A LITTLE BIT IN THE NEXT SLIDE.

UH, IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S BEEN USED FOR STAGING AND STORING, BUT THAT WILL BE RECAPTURED AND USED AS PARKING.
UM, THE, UH, FOUR STALLS THAT I SHOWED YOU AT THE ENTRANCE ARE NEW.
ALONG THAT NORTHERN BO, UH, WITH A, UH, CVS CAREMARK PROPERTY TO THE NORTH ARE ADDITIONAL PARKING, UH, THAT WILL BE ON SITE, AS WELL AS ALONG THE WESTERN PORTION OF THE EXISTING WAREHOUSE BUILDING.
UH, WE REDID THE PARKING CALCULATIONS PRIOR.
THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE 218 PARKING STALLS.
UH, THE CALCULATIONS SHOW THAT THEY ACTUALLY NEED 224, AND THAT'S WHAT'S BEING PROVIDED.
IN ADDITION TO THAT, THE, UH, REQUIREMENTS FOR LANDSCAPING, THEY ARE MODIFYING SOME OF THE LANDSCAPING.
THE LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENT FOR THIS AREA WOULD BE 7% IN THE PARKING AREA, THEY'RE PROVIDING 13.6%.
THEY'RE MAINTAINING THE 20 FOOT FRONTAGE AS WELL.
AND AGAIN, UM, ALL THE LANDSCAPING WILL BE PLACED RE REPLACED.
A COUPLE OF THINGS TO NOTE IS THAT, UH, WE DO HAVE REPRESENTATIVES FROM CVS CAREMARK HERE FROM XIM, UH, UM, RE REXFORD, UH, UH, INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL INDUSTRIAL, FORGIVE ME, I'M SORRY.
AND THEN WE ALSO HAVE OUR CITY TRAFFIC ENGINEER HERE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS.

CVS WOULD DO A LEASE BACK AS THE INTENTION AND THESE MODIFICATIONS TO THE DRIVEWAY WOULD NOT OCCUR UNTIL THAT LEASE TERMINATES.
UM, SO FOR PURPOSES OF NOW, IT'S IN ORDER TO AMEND THE CONDITION FROM THE ACCESS RESTRICTION THAT WAS APPROVED BACK IN 2010 FROM PLANNING COMMISSION IN 2011 FROM CITY COUNCIL.
DO YOU HAVE TO GO BEFORE THE FULLERTON PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THIS ITEM AS WELL? NO, SIR, WE DO NOT.
WE HAD THE TRAFFIC ENGINEERS BUY OFF IN PUBLIC WORKS, AND THAT WAS SUFFICIENT.

THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT REASONS WHY WE HAVE PARKING ISSUES.
WE HAVE SMALLER STREETS AND BIGGER CARS.
WE HAVE MORE PEOPLE STORING THEIR WORK VEHICLES, WHICH IS ILLEGAL, BY THE WAY.
YOU CAN'T OVER, YOU CAN'T STORE YOUR WORK VEHICLES ON, ON CITY STREETS, BUT WE DO IT ANYWAYS.
AND THERE'S A REASON WHY WE DON'T ENFORCE THAT, RIGHT? BECAUSE WE'RE TRYING TO PROTECT WORKING CLASS PEOPLE, WHICH ALSO MAKES SENSE TO ME.
BUT I, I SAY THIS ALL BECAUSE IT'S NOT JUST ONE.
AND I KNOW FOR, FOR MYSELF, MY HOUSEHOLD HAS ONE CAR.
WE DON'T DRIVE AS MUCH AS OTHER PEOPLE DO.
WE JUST, WE'RE JUST NOT THAT TYPE OF FAMILY.
SO IT, IT IS LESS OF A CONCERN FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME, BUT IT'S STILL A CONCERN, RIGHT? SO I JUST HOPE THAT WE CAN FIND WAYS TO MITIGATE SOME OF THE ISSUES WITH PARKING, UM, IN ALL NEIGHBORHOODS.
